# Infrared

False color · IR film

Infrared film records light just past red, which our eyes can't see. Leaves glow, skies go dark and colors come out wrong in a beautiful way. Infrared gives your picture that false-color look, in color, black and white or purple.

## Controls

### Film

- **Film** (Select: Color IR / Mono IR / Purple IR). The film. **Color IR** turns foliage red and pink. **Mono IR** is black and white with glowing white trees and dark skies. **Purple IR** leans magenta and violet.

### Response

- **Strength** (hero knob, 0 to 100, rests at 100). The hero. How much of the infrared look replaces your picture.
- **Foliage** (Knob, 0 to 100, rests at 65). How strongly green leaves light up.
- **Sky depth** (Knob, 0 to 100, rests at 50). How much the blue sky deepens. In **Mono IR**, it goes nearly black.

### Finish

- **Glow** (Knob, 0 to 100, rests at 35). A soft halo around bright and leafy areas, like light blooming in the film.
- **Contrast** (Knob, 0 to 100, rests at 50). Flatter or punchier.
